SEND CONSULTANT

Emma has a wealth of lived and professional experience, gained throughout the education, health and charity/volunteer sectors, having held a range of roles that have included (to name just a few) school nurse, pastoral support leadership, family liaison leadership, Designated Safeguarding Lead, school governor and SEND Advocate. Emma has successfully completed SEND law training with IPSEA and is able to offer consultancy, advice and advocacy in relation to EHCP’s, school admissions, placements and rights of appeal.

Emma has worked with children, young people and their families facing diverse and complex challenges including: Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLd), Neurodiversity, Complex educational and medical needs, Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH), Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), Emotional based school non attendance (EBSNA)
