Speech and Language Therapist / ADVANCED MENTAL HEALTH PRACTITIONER

Sue is a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist/Advanced Mental Health Practitioner and Registered Intermediary. With membership of both the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and the Health and Care Professionals Council. Sue has worked for many years for the NHS specialising in working with school-aged children and young adults in mainstream schools, she carries out autism assessments and supports young people in care with a range of complex needs in an NHS specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS).


In addition to her NHS roles, Sue has worked as part of a Clinical Team at a therapeutic specialist school, focusing on children with social-emotional, mental health, or trauma-related challenges. Her role as a Registered Intermediary involves supporting children and young people in effectively communicating their experiences, enabling them to provide evidence in police investigations and court proceedings.
